The purpose of senior photos is to celebrate all your accomplishments this far in life and document this time so you’ll have memories that last generations. Incorporating things you love right now will mean the world to you in 8 years when you’re out #adulting and realize your life has changed.
Here are some ways you can incorporate props in your senior photos to document this season of your life:
- Think about some objects that are meaningful to you right now. Have you read the same book 7 times throughout high school? Use it as a prop! Do you go to the same ice cream shop every time you win a game? Grab a cone and take some pictures before it melts!
- Use your sports equipment. Whether you’re a softball player or dancer, incorporating whatever you use to compete in your sport is a great way to bring your passion for being an athlete in to your session. Some examples can be a basketball, your jersey, or your dance shoes.
- Use the tools you use for your other hobbies. What is your favorite thing to do? If you’re a painter, get creative using paint as a prop! You could do a fun session smearing it on yourself, or you could do a more candid one creating an actual painting at one of your locations.
